Description
The estate is owned by the Cencioni family since 1957. Its founder Giuseppe was amongst the 25 producers who founded the Consorzio del Brunello appellation The vineyards are situated in the Montosoli area, northern Montalcino hillslope, ideal microenvironment for the Sangiovese due to the great drop in temperature overnight. Today Patrizio Cencioni and his son Amedeo (picture) carry out all the winemaking activities from vineyards through cellar and bottling. The philosophy behind the wines is purely traditional, where the accuracy and research in the vineyards give birth to one of the most classic Brunello styles of the entire appellation. Elegant wines that are capable of aging for decades.
